After a long time of working on it, today Weibo has confirmed that the latest version of its ColorOS will be unveiled between mid to late September. The company announced this at I/O 2021 when they also released Android 12 beta for Find X3 Pro immediately after Google’s first release.
Tech giant Google has already announced the Android 12 operating system. It might be released this month, and smartphone manufacturers are expected to launch their custom mobile OS based on this latest version of the Android OS shortly after that.
ColorOS 12 is set to be released by the end of September but OPPO hasn’t announced a specific date. This new Android overlay will likely include several major updates and could potentially have an impact on smartphone technology as we know it, so there’s been plenty of speculation about what this update means for users in terms of design changes or performance enhancements.
As we all know, OPPO has been working on new software for quite some time now. It is said that the company’s next OS will come with an amazing feature called ‘Cross-Screen Interconnection’. This means you can connect your phone with your laptop or PC. You will be easily able to operate mobile apps on your desktop or laptop. Simply drag files to your pc and edit them without any hurdles. The phone might also adopt several features from Chinese Android skins such as MIUI and Flyme OS.
ColorOS 12 is an upcoming mobile operating system from Oppo, and we still don’t know much about it. So to know more we have to wait until the official announcement.
