Apple iPad Air 2020 was unveiled in the September Apple event “Time Flies”. The all-new iPad Air is now available for pre-order at Apple and Best Buy. It has a starting price of $599 for the 64 GB variant. Although there is also another variant of 256 GB, that costs $749.
The all-new iPad Air will be available on October 23rd, as like the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. While pre-ordering the 64 GB variant with Wifi and Cellular both it will cost you $729. If you go for the 256 GB variant with Wifi + Cellular connectivity that will cost you $879.
Apple iPad Air is powered by the same Apple A14 Bionic Chip (5nm), also used in iPhone 12 lineup. It has a 10.9 inches Liquid Retina display having a resolution of 1640 x2360. Under the hood, the iPad Air is featuring the same hardware used in the iPhone 12 lineup. It has the same Hexa-Core CPU and Apple GPU (4-Core Graphics).
On the back there is only one lens of 12 MP (Wide), even there is no LiDAR lens. The best part is we have got the Touch ID back on the Apple iPad Air, however, there is no Touch ID in the new iPhone 12 models. There is a top-mounted fingerprint reader on the iPad Air known as Touch ID. Thanks to Apple, most of the iPhone users still love the Touch ID instead of Face ID.
