Apple is going to unveil its top-notch phones the iPhone 12 series in October 2020. The customer who was anxiously waiting for the arrival iPhone 12 series is going to be the part of their life. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max is featured with a Sony LiDAR camera lens, this is the same lens used in the recently released Apple iPad Pro. The report has been published by the Fast Company citing this new up-gradation in the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max.
As from the report, the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max will be only featured by the Sony LiDAR camera lens. Apple worked on this up-gradation for years and at last, it’s going to happen. Apple will release four models of iPhone 12, the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. This is also confirmed from the report that only the pro models will get the Sony LiDAR lens like the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The working purpose of the LiDAR lens is to know the real depth of the objects using the pulses of light. It can exactly show you how far or close the object is placed, it has the ability to differentiate between the foreground and background in resulting to give you better, accurate, and sharp portrait shots. The Sony LiDAR lens also helps in providing Virtual objects to be placed in the real-world using the Augmented Reality (AR) feature.
As it’s not been confirmed officially from Apple but some of the famous tipsters has mentioned that the Apple iPhone 12 Pro will be featured by the Sony LiDAR lens. There are some other reports mentioning that the Pro models will be featured with this lens.
This time Apple has changed its strategy to lower the prices of its flagship devices by cutting some of the important accessories like charging adapter and charging cables. As the prices of the iPhone 12 models are still unknown but we can expect a lower price for the Apple iPhone 12 (base model).
