Sony authorities are ceasing the activity of casting movies and TV shows over the streaming screens from the 31st of August. The decision was made in the March of 2021, but the authorities provide an advantage of use to the subscribers.

The implementation provides an edge to the audience to shift their regards to another casting platform. Some of the users thought it’s an improvement step for the unmentioned bugs. But others are calling it a worse step. As the entertainment regarding the streamed live shows has been removed.

People who have licensed the PlayStation just for the sake of TV shows will force to alter the negotiating policy as the bound to the platform for entertainment causes.

Sony officially announces about this change that the platform will no longer be suitably available for the casting things. According to Sony’s official blog,

“We strive to provide the best entertainment experience for PlayStation fans, and that means evolving our offerings as customer needs change. We’ve seen tremendous growth from PlayStation fans using subscription-based and ad-based entertainment streaming services on our consoles. With this shift in customer behavior, we have decided to no longer offer movie and TV purchases and rentals through PlayStation Store as of August 31, 2021”.

But on the same side, Sony is facilitating the audience who had made purchases regarding the movies, by the framework of time access. Those who have already availed of the packages can finish the trial and then be bound to this up-gradation.

Sooner or later there will appear the right cause of this change. Which will comfort size the audience regarding this magnificent and huge decision of stopping cast’ services for Sony PlayStation.

Till then, people can choose their platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Disney+. All of them are still in the range for the experience.
