Samsung’s latest flagships are now capable of playing Stadia games. So if you’re a Samsung customer, there is no need to play experimental versions on your phone or tablet.
Google is making it easy for people to enjoy their favorite games on the go. Stadia brings console-quality gaming into a Google Chrome browser, including smartphones. No matter where you are or what device, all without downloading anything.
Google has expanded the list of compatible Samsung devices with 11 more phones. These include Galaxy S21 and Note 20, so it’s good news for those who want Stadia high-quality games on their devices.
The Stadia platform has been relatively late in adding official support for the Galaxy S21 and Note 20 lineups, as they were released much later than most other innovative phone models.
Stadia is excited to announce that all Galaxy S handsets from the latest update onwards S8 and Note devices are now compatible with Stadia.
If you wanted to stream games on your Galaxy tablet before, it was possible in an experimental setup similar to when using Android phones not approved by Google. However, Google will officially support only specific devices for its game streaming service.
Samsung Tablets and Phones
To use the feature, you must first have a device on this list and then follow their instructions when setting up your account. The best tablets from Samsung are now on the list, including Galaxy Tab S5e, Tab S6, Tab S7, and Tab S7+. Furthermore, the list also includes Galaxy S21 Ultra, S21+ and S21, and Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Note 20.
Google Stadia does not support Samsung’s latest foldable phones. Google’s new game streaming service, Stadia, does not list the smartphones from the Samsung foldable category, including its Pixel series as of yet.
