A news story from JustWatch shows the real progress story of Apple TV+. JustWatch is an analytics company that provides streaming guidance on various video platforms. Apple TV+ is also providing its streaming services, but it is still far from a huge success. The research discloses that it is still under-rated from Netflix, Disney+, and Peacock.
The research data was collected in the last quarter of 2020. This data reveals that Apple TV+ is not as much influence as other streaming sources. This platform has only a 3% market share in the United States and falls last in the ranking.
The streaming service of Apple TV+ was so bad that it is even ranked below the Peacock, which is registered in July last year, and it holds the markup share of 6% during the quarter.
The JustWatch also mentioned the reason for its low ranking in the research article. According to it, Apple TV+ has specified categorize of work areas as compared to its rivals. Apart from all this, 2020 had proved to be the most challenging year for Apple. The company had to struggle a lot due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Besides this, Netflix remains on the top like always, with a market share of 31%. It is followed by Amazon Prime Videos with almost 22%. Hulu ranked to be 3rd in streaming service with an estimated 14%.
In this situation, the company has increased the trial period for the subscribers. Now the users can enjoy the Apple TV+’s streaming activity till July 2021. The company’s organizers are launching the second season of Dickinson and Servant on Apple TV+ this month.
You can avail yourself of Apple TV+ for free by purchasing a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV.
