Among Us new Map will be revealed at Game Awards 2020

Game awards are one of the most prestigious events for the gaming world where video games all over the world get there for rewards and recognition. Geoff Keighley, the host of the Game Awards, has announced in a tweet that the much-awaited, new map for Among Us will be revealed during this award show. The game already has 3 different maps that a player can play in. Each has its own unique areas and tasks that keep the fans stick to it. The developer has given just a hint of the new map through a screenshot which shows a deck of a space ship. All this is definitely influenced by the developer’s previous game, The Henry Stickman Collection

Among Us gained much popularity among gamers in the previous months and that’s how it got its due nominations as well. Even though it’s out for Mobile devices but it gained much following among PC gamers as well with streamers sharing their sessions of the game. It is up for 2 awards at the Game Awards this year. One is the Best Mobile Game where it has a tough competition with Call of Duty Mobile,  Genshin Impact, Legends of Runeterra, and Pokemon Cafe Mix.

The other award is for the Best Multiplayer Game where other candidates include some popular games like Call of Duty: warzone, Animal Crossing: New horizons, Fall Guys and Valorant.

Although the true fun of any event lies in its audience, we are going to experience an all-digital event keeping in view the current pandemic. But to our luck, celebrities like uncharted and Spiderman star Tom Holland are expected to be present along with a live performance by the legend Eddie Vedder.

Giving its fans a surprise announcement has become a tradition for Game Awards and we can expect the same this year. The Game Awards will air on 10th December at 7:00 pm EST.
