Recently, Xiaomi announced Redmi will be an independent sub-brand soon. The interesting poster on their website also might have hinted that the next Redmi will have a 48MP Camera. Now, a Redmi Note 7 was spotted on Geekbench running on Snapdragon 660 with 6GB RAM.
In December 2018, Xiaomi President Lin Bin hinted at a Xiaomi phone with 48MP Camera expected to release in January, 2019. If you put all those facts together, it seems Redmi Note 7 might be the phone with 48MP Camera launching on 10th January, 2019.

Here’s what a few keen observers found on Geekbench found today:-
So, the phone scores 1462 on Single Core Benchmark. And, on Multi Core, it scores 4556. These scores are almost comparable with Snapdragon 636, the SoC used in the predecessor model – Redmi Note 6 Pro. Apart from that, the listing says it has 5732MB of Memory. Translating this, we know the phone has a 6GB RAM variant.
Apart from that, the phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, the SoC used in phones like Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2. The SoC has a base frequency of 1.84GHz. Thanks to this listing, we also know that Redmi Note 7 will run Android Pie out of the box.
Redmi Note 7 seems to be outperformed by rivals like the Max Pro M2 based on the Benchmark scores. But, it’s too soon to say.

From what we know with the Geekbench listing of Redmi Note 7, here’s a quick look at the basic specs of the phone:-

We’ll have more details soon. In other news, a mysterious TENAA listing shows off a Xiaomi phone with 6.3″ display and 3,900 mAh Battery. It also has a glossy back. Current speculations are, it could be Redmi 7. But, with Redmi Note 7 in the mix, it’s difficult to say now.
