Elon Musk proposes Tesla Tunnel in Miami.

The Boring Company of Elon Musk will construct a 6.2-mile underground transit system in Miami.

Moreover, this is reported by The Insider that Elon Musk's Company wants to construct an underground transport system, for which they have sent a proposal to get permission.

According to the Insider, the transit system will transport Tesla Vehicles between seven stations along State Road 826, the Golden Glades Transit Center, and Sunny Isles Beach at Newport Pier.

In addition, The Boring Company estimated that the LOOP would carry more than 7,500 passengers per hour and can also be increased to 15,000 per hour.

Moreover, According to The Boring Company, the total estimated cost of this project would be $185 million to $220 million.

This means that the project will take less than three years to complete.

But it is dependent upon the permission when it will be granted. That is the main issue.

Some extensions are also included in the given proposal by The Boring Company, including the 6.2-mile North Miami Beach Loop.

This will also include a 3-mile connection to Hard Rock Stadium and a 1.8-mile link to Florida International University.

However, in an interview with the Insider, the North Miami Beach Commissioner Michael Joseph said that we have a lot of traffic problems, and this Loop will solve all these traffic problems and  will also" alleviate a great deal of that traffic."

Joseph also clarified that the total cost of this project would be "a fraction of the mass transit projects proposed in South Florida.

He also said that the construction of this Loop would not cause any trouble to the local economy.

Moreover, it will be the second underground transport system. Before this, the Boring Company opened the first one km Las Vegas in April 2021.
