Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 in China while announcing Redmi as an independent sub-brand on 10th January. Thanks to Manu Jain’s intriguing Tweet, we learned that Redmi Note 7 will launch in India soon. Now, a leaked image tells us that Redmi Note 7 will launch on 12th February in India.
The image also tells us that the Indian Redmi Note 7 launch event will take place in the Capital city of New Delhi. With the launch of Redmi Note 7, there will be very tough competition between Note 7 and Samsung’s recently launched Galaxy M series.
Recently, we gave you 6 good reasons to wait for Redmi Note 7’s launch in India. The wait will be over in less than two weeks.
Update (14th February, 2019): Xiaomi confirms Redmi Note 7 Launch Date: 28th February, 2019.
Redmi Note 7 Indian Launch Date – 12th February, 2019
The launch date seems very convenient, just two days before Valentine’s Day. But, we aren’t sure if the phone will go on sale on the same day. Moreover, we strongly believe Xiaomi will opt for the Flash Sale system for the Redmi Note 7.
The invitation has a silhouette of the Redmi Note 7 and inside it is the text, “APNA TIME AAYEGA.” This means “Our time will come.” And, is a reference from an upcoming Bollywood movie, Gully Boy’s song. The movie is set to release on 14th February.
But, this might have a different meaning too. There has been a recent clash involving Technical Guruji, Samsung and Xiaomi in India. By clash, I mean an episode of social media warfare. And, Xiaomi in India has been promoting the Redmi Note 7 with phrases like, “good things come to people who wait.” They are indirectly asking customers to wait for the Redmi Note 7 to launch before buying any alternatives (ahem ahem.. Galaxy M).
