As we all know, Xiaomi’s sub-brand – Redmi has always focused on its vanilla series of mobile phones. In this case, if you don’t know what the vanilla series of Redmi brand is; A vanilla series is a dedicated lineup of smartphones of Redmi that focuses only on value for money.

As a result, Xiaomi Redmi 10 fulfills the expectations of the vanilla series by giving top-notch specs and features at a mid-range price. Initially, the Xiaomi Redmi 10 has only hit the Chinese market in three different variants.

On top of that, the device is being highlighted by the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset. According to experts, G88 SoC is the updated version of its predecessor—G85.

The other key feature of the device is its 50MP rear camera. The rear cameras are in the rectangular module at the top left corner of the backside of the device. The back camera will pair with an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro cam, and also a 2MP depth sensor. On the other hand, there is a centered punch-hole front camera. The selfie camera comprises an 8MP shooter from the company.

In terms of display, it supports 1080 pixels in resolution. Interestingly, because of the newer processor from MediaTek, it can also support a refresh rate of 90Hz. To recall, this refresh rate on the display screen is the latest one on the vanilla series of Redmi. There are other changeable refresh rates as well in the mobile settings. In the settings, you can also have the options of 45Hz and 60z.

The device packs a massive 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Apart from typical charging, the model will support 9W of reverse charging. Besides this, the charger for this gadget comes with a 22.5W.

Under the hood, the handset contains the latest OS from Google, i.e. Android 11 under the skin of MIUI 12.5. The three colors of the device contain:

  • Carbon Gray
  • Pebble White
  • Sea Blue              

The Xiaomi Redmi 10 comes in three variants, but other models didn’t have the Pro or any other names of variants. The three versions of the smartphone include:

  • 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage
  • 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage
  • 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage
