Stadia is finally available on Android TV and Chromecast with Google TV. It was made available earlier on June 23rd and till now it has almost 50,000 downloads on Google Play, spotted by Reddit users. So while having an Android TV with Stadia Controller you are good to go to enjoy Cloud games.
It is a cloud gaming service developed by Google in 2019. It has almost 180 games in its library, while players can play different games up to 4k resolutions. However, you will experience 30 to 60fps even at 4k resolution.
Besides this, it was also released for Chromecast with Google TV, Nvidia Shield TV, Nvidia Shield TV Pro, Hisense Android Smart TVs, Xiaomi MIBOX3, and MIBOX4. Other than this, it’s also available on Philips 8215, 8505, and OLED 935/805 Android TVs.
Furthermore, other Android users can also try it out using Google Stadia Controller. Step directly to your PlayStore on your Android Tv and download it.
After downloading the app from Playstore, launch it from the ‘My Apps’ row and press continue at the opt-in screen. According to Stadia Community,
“As for Android TV OS devices not on this list, you can opt into experimental support to play Stadia. While this feature is still in development and not every Android TV OS device will work perfectly, you can now try out Stadia and play your favorite games on more screens than ever before”.
