PUBG Mobile, the famous Battle Royale game is planning to make a comeback in India. Two months back, India’s Govt. banned the game after the Information and Technology ministry department raised their cybersecurity concerns. Given this, Developers permanently terminated the access of all the Indian users after the franchise decided to cut ties with Tencent Games. Although, rumors are that game will get unban at the end of 2020.
PUBG originally owned by Krafton is now partnered with Microsoft Azure to ensure the protection of user’s data in India because Microsoft is already operating three global data centers in India.
According to the sources, PUBG contacted and informed famous streamers secretly in India about the potential return of the game at the end of the year or on the upcoming Diwali Festival. But, the streamers are not allowed to speak on this matter, one source said. However, there is no official statement made by PUBG cooperation and rumors are that more updates will come for the company in the coming weeks. This rumor or information has already planted the seed of hope, joy, and excitement in the fans.
With the second biggest internet market, PUBG Mobile was the most-played game beating Call of Duty Mobile and Fortnight Mobile in India. Helping tons of online streamers build a large fan-base with the global world and it took the country’s esports organization on another Level which was never done before.
In the end, leaks are that game will return on Nov 15th but, there is no confirmation from the Owners and the date can change according to the professional streamers.
