After returning to the platform of Xbox Game Pass three months ago, the most played the video game – GTA V has decided to leave it. Therefore, the subscribers of Microsoft’s service will be having only a few days to play the Rockstar game.
The news broke by a listing on the Xbox Game Pass mobile application that indicates GTA 5 is leaving the platform soon. Unfortunately, after staying on the platform of Xbox Gaming Pass for three months, Grand Theft Auto 5 has once again left the service.
As a reminder, Grand Theft Auto 5 returned on Microsoft’s platform on April 2021 for console and cloud users. As mentioned, that’s not the first time the game has been included in the list of Microsoft-owned streaming platforms. In fact, in January 2020, the open-world game was included in the listing of Xbox Pass. Likewise, recent scenario, the video game left the service after few months (May 2020).
Several games typically remain in the catalog of Microsoft subscription services for a long time but in the case of GTA 5. It has a history of leaving subscription service after every three months or more. Apparently, the reasons are unknown, but it seems some strategy from both the service providers – Microsoft and Rockstar.
Also, neither Microsoft nor Rockstar made any official statement regarding the exit of the game from the subscription platform. However, the game is listed in the “leaving soon” section of the Xbox Game Pass mobile app.
Historically, those games who are listed in the part of leaving soon will leave the platform within the time of two weeks. As a result, it is confirmed that we’ll be seeing the exit of the Rockstar game soon.
How much it will cost?
At current GTA 5, Premium Edition is available with a discounted price of $14.99 as a result of the Xbox Summer Sale. Before the discounted price, it was available at the price tag of $29.99.
If you’re willing to buy the Premium version then it’s the best time so that you can play your game with your previous records and rewards. So, it’s up to you whether you buy the premium mode or wait for the next game pass provided by Microsoft.
