Microsoft takes back the words regarding the price hype of Xbox Live Gold membership. The membership prices have been increased recently, which for most of the users is a kind of unfair decision.
However, with a substantial inadequate response regarding the prices increasing, the company has decided not to increase the prices at all. Microsoft also announced that the Free to play games would not require Xbox Live Gold subscriptions.

The membership prices were increased recently, in which the one-month subscription price was increased from $10 to $11. However, there is a $5 hype in the three-month subscription. This pricing was for just the new members as mentioned.
They came up with a new decision, in which there will be no price increase for all members. The members will have to continue the subscription for the same price.
Membership Current Prices
- 1-month membership ($9.99)
- 3 months membership ($24.99)
- 6 months membership (39.99)
- 12 months membership (59.99)
According to Microsoft, all the prices will be the same as before, and the free to play games will further not require Xbox Live Gold membership. Also, the company is working hard to deliver this change ASAP shortly.
