CD Project Red under cyber attack by unknown hackers. According to CD Project, the system has been hacked, accessing some of their networks, and specific data.
The developers of Cyberpunk 2077 has mentioned the hackers note on their Twitter account. From the hackers note it’s been cited that they have accessed the source code of the Cyberpunk 2077, Gwent, Witcher 3 and the upcoming version of Witcher 3.
The hackers threaten the developers, release the source code along with other financial documents etc. But according to CD Project Red, they are in the process of restoring it’s lost data. Also, the company has informed the concerned authorities as well.

The company is passing through a very critical time since the release of the game. Recently, the developers have released the Hotfix 1.12 for PC. The company has released several hotfix updates from the very beginning.
Sony also removed the game from the Playstation online store; however, Xbox also offered a refund to there users. Here, the company faced another big issue, but they are in contact with the relevant authorities.
As the CD Project Red mentioned that they would never compromise with the attackers, neither players’ data will be compromised.
