Apple M1 Mac has now official support of Nvidia Geforce Now. Nvidia recently added beta support for Chrome browser and MacOS. Now the cloud gaming service will also work on the newly designed Apple M1 Mac.
However, to install the Nvidia Geforce Now app, users of M1 mac will be asked to download the Rosetta 2 emulator. On Macs, the Geforce Now works via the official app, but on the new M1, CPU based Mac’s you will still need to download Rosetta 2, emulator.
As the company has added official support for the M1 CPU, it is expanding support for all kinds of platforms. They added support for Chrome on Windows, iPad, iPhones via safari browser, and now for M1 Mac.
Nvidia also mentioned that they will add other new games to the Geforce Now on February 25. If you are using the new M1 Mac’s and want to enjoy the cloud gaming service, download the Geforce Now client from the official website.
