Amazon has decided to pay a maximum of $1000 to its customers for defective items sold by Amazon third-party merchants. The decision was made by an e-commerce giant after facing a lawsuit regarding personal injuries and property damages after using products purchased from the platform of the e-commerce giant.
The e-commerce giant announced in its blog post that it will be claiming up to $1000 to its buyers (customers). If the third-party store-keepers reject to replace or being unresponsive. The new policy will start from 1st September, according to the company’s blog post. Notably, the claim will be made if you have valid reasons and evidence of such incidents.
